2011 South Central Texas Regional Water Plan
During 2006 to 2011, the South Central Texas Regional Water Planning Group (SCTRWPG), better known as Region L, developed the 2011 Regional Water Plan for the South Central Texas Region.
On Aug. 5, 2010, Region L approved its 2011 Regional Water Plan. On Sept. 1, 2010, the Plan was submitted to the Texas Water Development Board. During Fall/Winter 2010, the TWDB is scheduled to review and approve the Plan.
The 2011 Region L Water Plan is intended to be incorporated into the 2012 State Water Plan. The Texas Water Code requires that regional and the State Water Plans be updated every five years.
