2006 Regional Water Plan

During 1998, 1999, 2000, and 2001, the South Central Texas Regional Water Planning Group (SCTRWPG) developed the 2001 Regional Water Plan for the South Central Texas Region, and on January 4, 2001 adopted and submitted the plan to the Texas Water Development Board (TWDB). The TWDB approved the Regional Water Plan and incorporated it into the 2002 State Water Plan. The Texas Water Code requires that the State Water Plan be updated every five years. Consequently, the TWDB requested scopes of work, schedules, and budgets from the SCTRWPG for development of the 2006 Regional Water Plan, which will in turn become part of the 2007 State Water Plan.
