2002-2006 Planning Timeline

Spring 2002 Funding application, Scope of Work, and draft Infrastructure Financing Report due to the TWDB.

Winter 2002 Complete draft population projections and begin 6-month comment period.

Spring 2003 Complete draft water demand projections and begin 6-month comment period.

Spring/Summer 2003 TWDB approves population and water demand projections.

2005 Planning Group hold public meetings prior to Regional Water Plan preparation. Public hearings on Regional Water Plans required prior to adoption.

June 1, 2005 Initially prepared (draft) Regional Water Plans due to TWDB.

January 5, 2006 Planning Group adopted Regional Water Plans due to TWDB.

January 5, 2007 TWDB Approved State Water Plan due to the Legislature.
